I love him as a doctor and his support team is awesome too!

State Insurance Fund Hack! Run to anyone else! This guy should not be practicing....dishonest as they come!

I am only giving him One star because there is no Zero star. I was referred to Dr. Friedman by St. Lukes Occ Health for a strained back muscle suffered at work. On the first of two visits, he seemed reasonably competent in his examination and expressed confidence in his ability to help me. On my second (and last) appointment, I was only marginally better and was looking forward to the next step. He didn't focus on my injury at all and instead rambled on about unrelated persons and topics. This time he did not exam me at all instead basing his judgments solely on a barely legible physical therapist's report. Then he declared that I didn't need any further therapy or other treatments. He told me to continue home stretching exercises and come back in 8 weeks. I was dumbfounded and needless to say, that was the last appointment that I would have with him. I applied to the Idaho Industrial Commission and after a hearing was granted a change of doctor. My advice is to steer clear of him!

He is contracted with workers comp and cares about money, not people. I'm glad he is decent to some people, they must have caught him on a good day, or their ailments must be something he can relate to. He talked about his wife and didn't ask me questions about me to make Any type of legitimate assessment of my condition. I could write a few pages about him, none of which would be good. But I don't want to waste any more time on this rich scam artist. He is one of the doctors in this valley who chooses not to practice medicine using the hippocratic oath he swore to. Very disappointing! He probably got his schooling paid for by hard working tax payers, too. Then turned his back on the ones he's supposed to be helping. I wouldn't refer him to my worst enemy.

Dr. Robert Friedman is very knowledgeable and an expert in Pain management and patient understanding. I've had multiple injuries and have had a hard time in living with the quality life for a long time now, since 1999. I've tried to live with the pain and deal with the way it is. All I can say is Dr. Friedman has a good eye and understanding when you are not being as honest as you should be. Has an awesome quality and personality of teasing information out of you, listens to what you are there being seen for. Expert at telling if you are there just drug seeking or really there for help. He has paid his dues and is more than qualified at what he does. He is there to help and heal and get you back on your feet or getting back to a better quality of life. He listens, his scribe Randy is there to help and let Dr Freidman know whats going on and help get to the bottom of things. He respects honesty and I am more than willing to be honest than fib or lie cause were human and I have never… been judged or treated like a mistake will ruin my relationship, thank you Dr. Friedman. Your staff is courtesy and nice, and always greets me with a smile and make me feel at home. I hope to be a patient here for as long as I'm in Pain management. I've been helped back to living a more active life. I appreciate their patience and schedule me in when I need to see my Dr. Because of a new problem or a bad time. Thank you to all who work there and help to make my time and life easier and better for my benefit. Anyone who has said anything bad about IPM&R are truly ungrateful and are unfortunate not to give this company the chance or advice to get the proper help these Dr.s were trained to do. I appreciate all the help and treatment I've received from IPM&R and Dr. Robert H. Friedman. Thank you

Great Staff ... Friendly and Professional... I had appointment at 12:30 today I got there at 12:15 . I was back in Exam Room at 12:25 Wow ... I expected at least 30 minuets This was an IME Evaluation. I have had several in last few years, so I knew what to expect. This was a very thorough two hour evaluation. He asked more questions and listened more carefully than any other IME Dr, that I had ever seen. Dr. FRIEDMAN had Great Bedside Manner and Genuine Fun Approach. I have not yet seen his final report, but it was Very I mportant for me to do this Review, based on a truly unbiased perspective. Thanks Doctor Friedman, for making this easy and comfortable.

After driving over an hour each way still had to wait an hour and a half for early morning appointment time due to his ridiculous BSing with whoever is foolish enough to listen about nothing to do with patients. Does not care about patient privacy with his "pain pill tours" away from his office and will talk about personal medical information with other patients in the room or with the door open. Talks about anything except patient health. Wonder how much he scams the insurance companies to write a couple of prescriptions and have the patient pee in a cup? And how do you check a urine sample without sending it to the lab? He has no business being a doctor, no business getting rewarded with lucrative payment for something that essentially takes about 5 minutes of his time and wastes his patient's time. His family “staff” is unhelpful and unfriendly. His fraud is part of what is wrong with our healthcare system. And I am forced to go to this Dr. because it is a work comp claim and for… pain pills which I do not abuse! His stars should be in the negative numbers but one is as low as you can go!

This guy is an insurance company hack! He will write a horrible IME if you have to be seen by him. He will say whatever they want him to say for money. He is as dishonest as they come and believes he has all the answers. What a disgrace to the medical profession! Wouldn't ever go to him for help or recommend anyone to him ever!!!

Slipped and fell on ice at work striking the back of my head, rendering me unconcious. They gave my case to this doctor. He had his mind made up already, and as time went by and my condition didn't improve, instead of treating me for the symptoms, he tried to demean me and my wife for questioning the treatments. Never once did he or an M.R.I. or CTscan of my head and tried to say I was malingering and not trying hard enough. I ended up seeing another doctor out of state, a neuro-opthamologist, who concurred with me that I was suffering increased vision problems as well as post concussion syndrome migraines. Dr. Friedman works for the insurance companies and only cares about his own pocketbook, not about your condition. If you have a work comp injury, they probably will send you to this quack as they are in cahoots. If they send you to this guy, run the other way as fast as you can, because you will get terrible treatment, and he will demean you and call you a liar when he doesn't get… his way.
