Dr. Robert Andrew Gal, MD

Dr. Gal seems always busy and makes you wait very long wait times. Then to just come in, not remember anything about you (not entirely his fault as there are a lot of patients), and try and get out of there as quick as possible. He was a pretty big jerk overall, not even trying to answer questions and getting overly aggressive when questioned or asked to explain. I felt completely helpless while under his care. His staff may be the worst though, with his prescription nurse saying verbatim "I was too tired to return your call yesterday" after I had called for a week straight! Waiting for a prescription can be very time sensitive for certain symptoms, and she was weeks late and I relapsed on symptoms. I recommend everyone if they can, run as far and fast as possible away from this entire thing. Everyone was very rude to me at all times if you ask for any help (except his secretary, who tried her best to help but is limited by the incompetent stooges around and above her). Happy to be… free from the GAL-inator!!!!

Dr. Gal recently did a colonoscopy and endoscopy and explained results in a logical, professional and caring manner. He is available to answer calls and questions. Dr. Gal is self confident without being pompous.

Cordial and willing to answer all my questions. Of course he's in a hurry because he has many patients but he really took time to calm me down and explain EVERYTHING I asked. After my procedures next week, I'll talk about that part. I'm positive and feel he knows his stuff.

Rude and condescending.

Have been a patient of Dr. Gal's for years. He saved my life!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was my first visit since the two previous doctors left the practice and Dr. Gal took over. My appointment was routine with no previous history of problems so I cannot comment on effective diagnosis. He was abrupt, in a hurry and does not like to explain himself. At the time of my appointment, I told them I couldn't make the appointment for a routine colonoscopy for a few months and since there was no problem , I didn't feel any urgency. The doctor and the receptionist said it was okay. I received a stern letter about three weeks after this stating that I was long overdue for my procedure and if I didn't want to book with this doctor, i was free to go elsewhere. What was that all about? I won't go back to him.

Was on his cellphone the whole time, very rude. Didn't help me at all.
