Dr. Robert Dale Gear, DDS

My recent experience with Dr. Gear was for an extraction of my final wisdom tooth. was a pleasurable experience, if you consider a visit to an oral surgeon pleasurable. I was referred to Dr . Gear from my regular dentist. His staff is superb and very professional, yet very friendly and made me feel comfortable. From the consultation through the extraction I very was very pleased by the way I was treated. After the extraction, I returned home expecting to undergo possible severe pain and swelling. I am happy to say that the bleeding was stopped in an hour and a half. As the anesthetic wore off, I waited for the pain. There was none, and I never had to take any pain pills at all through the entire session, including the follow-up a week later. I could not believe what I had worried about for three to four weeks had gone so smoothly. I would highly recommend Dr. Gear for any of the services he offers. Again, thanks to Dr.Gear and his staff for a pleasurable experience.

I went to his father for a root canal as a young man and he was very good. I was sent to Jr. by my Oncologist to have my lower teeth removed before radiation. Not a "fun" experience in any way shape or form. However, I could not have designed a better office, staff, and tender loving care from a Dr. if I had tried. He REALLY cared and showed it. He's staff is as good as it gets. Many follow up visits due to the radiation and the healing process, exposed my wife and I to some of the nicest people we have ever met. Dr.'s or friends. Don't let his quite manner fool you, he is really nice.
