I love the challenges that come with being an orthodontist. All the pieces of the puzzle must come together in order to provide the highest quality, board certified care. A person's smile is very important but so is how the smile is framed by the face. The facial support that the teeth provides needs special attention and that's why I try to avoid the removal of teeth if at all possible. Also, I think it's vitally important to stay on top of the newest materials and technologies available so I can in turn provide the absolute best care to my patients. I love learning (I think of myself as a student of life) and every day my patients teach me something new. That makes this the best job to have and I love it.
