This man saved my life. I went from trapped in 4 years of addiction to 5 years of sobriety, achieving two college diplomas in the field of computer programming, becoming a truly committed full time dad who’s devoted to developing the social skills, motor skills, critical thinking and problem solving abilities, pushing my daughter to pursue the hobbies she loves and excels at, and above all, putting her happiness above every and all things! This man changed not just my life, but he helped saved my life and is likely the reason I am alive today. He was one of the handful of tent poles in my recovery and long term 5 year complete sobriety. I love not needing anything to embrace the things I enjoy and find joy in within this life. And all my progress is a result of the incredibly compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable actions of Dr Godefroi. It’s rare to find someone as experienced in addiction recovery treatment as Dr Godefroi. Far too many addiction treatment “specialists”… react to real life recovery as if they are reading from their college books and are just totally unable to absorb the real world addiction knowledge required to help people in the way that these few wise men and women like Dr Godefroi does. Usually you only find this kind of knowledge in people who have lived through and survived addiction, which is a small few as America has one of if not the highest mortality rate among its opiate addicted population. It’s tragic, yet Dr Godefroi took this responsibility into his own hands and instead of just doing nothing until his patients die like so many doctors do with patients suffering from addiction, Dr Godefroi acts! Most doctors would dance around the problems of those suffering through addiction or the trials of sobriety, and when their patient eventually passed away due to the inaction of their “providers”, those kind of doctors shrug and say/think something along the lines of ,” oh well, it was inevitable with their addiction problems”. That’s cowardice. Dr Godefroi was courageous and chose instead to stand up and fight for his patients lives! And he succeeded, thanks to his combination of practical, real-world understanding of addiction, as well as a vast Array of medical knowledge, which when combined resulted in truly deep wisdom when it came to the medical subject and successful practical application of treating addicts, both active and sober. He is incredible and the kind of practical wisdom he demonstrated is innate and not isolated just to addiction treatment, but quite the opposite. This man harnesses the type of practical knowledge and medical knowledge far beyond most doctors who simply rely on book knowledge and industry trends to harness information and demonstrate their intent is clearly just to take in as much money as possibly comes with the denotation and rank of MD, but they do not actually care to invest their energy in true patient welfare. Dr Godefroi went above and beyond and devoted himself to optimal, life saving care! Dr Godefroi knew the heightened dangers of opiates today compared to just ten years ago. This, he took every step and measure necessary to protect his patients and cultivate the strongest, most effective and most stable sobriety with as much individualized support as he could give based on each patients individual needs and circumstances. No matter what, the solemn fact is that this man saved a human life when he took me on as his patient during my first few weeks of sobriety. He was a tenant of my success in sobriety. And he objectively deserves all the praise associated with a literal life-saver. This man is a hero.

Dr.Godefroi's intellect, insight, and bedside manner is top notch! He is personable, proficient, and compassionate. Dr.Godefroi does not make you feel rushed when you explain your (potentially) problematic situation. He asks questions pertaining to what's ailing you so he can explore the most effective route to rid you of your problem. I feel fortunate to have found a PCP who truly cares! I would rate him a 5÷ + +!
