Dr. Robert Alan Gotoff, MD

He really needs to improve his bedside manner. He was very rude to my little sister and he acted like he didn't want to treat her. She came to Danville Geisinger on a Friday night and was in ICU till Saturday night and then moved to another room . Sunday morning first time seeing her he just came in her room and said she can go home. Didn't even check her out. Definitely not having him for a doctor.

I was admitted to GMC with Pneumococcal Pneumonia and I received wonderful care from Dr. Gotoff and his team. He was called down to the ER when I arrived with a huge Pneumonia and an elevated White Count. I was very sick and my electrolytes He came down to the ER right away, told me that he didn't know what I had, but he started treating me right away. He was very kind, squeezed my hand, provided reassurance. He was the most humble and caring of all the Physicians I saw. It was the first time I was in the Hospital since I had my C-sections and I was a bit worried. I would recommend Dr. Gotoff to anyone who needs treated by Infectious Disease. He is a superb physician who has not lost his humanity.
