Dr. Robert Fraser Grambau, MD

Truly Caring. More concerned about patients wellbeing than money (which is not the norm). Will go out of his way to help a patient in need and makes himself available, even during personal time, when needed. Extremely intelligent and knowledgeable on, not only his areas of focus, but the full spectrum of psychiatric practices. Also just generally knowledgable when it comes to any subject. He does not over-prescribe, but also knows when certain medications are needed. And while not his prerogative, he is also an excellent counselor and psycho-therapist: taking time to listen to a patient's feelings and issues, rather than insisting sessions be solely comprised of discussion of reaction to medications or physical symptoms. Dr. Grambau is the only psychiatrist (or Doctor, period) I've had in my years of treatment (for depression and anxiety, primarily) that I can feel safe with, knowing if I ever have an issue of any kind, he'll be there to help- day or night, weekday or weekend. He… considers every patient on an individual basis, talking all factors into account (never feel uncomfortable telling him the full truth, as he would never hold honesty against someone- a rare trait in the field), and will make anyone feel comfortable from their first session He will go above and beyond the standards of psychiatry.
