Honest professional and one of the most skilled surgeons who reconstructed me after being butchered by a supposedly board certified surgeon. Caring and is a a credit to medicine and humanity

I had a regrettable experience with Dr Grant. When he did the nipple reconstruction he left an open wound that he though that it would close with xeroform. I got multiple bacterial infections and a careless removal of my implant at this office and let me for more than three months with an open wound, he blamed to my radiated skin of the reconstruction failure, so far I asked for a second and third opinion for start with reconstruction process and no one plastic surgeon can figure up why he left the open wound. I would never recommend in to his capabilities for a breast reconstruction.

Dr Grant did a phenomenal job on my trans flap operation. Throughout visits with other Drs. They always comment that my surgeon was an artist. Never saw a breast so well made. He was a savior!

My experience with him is limited. My mother had breast cancer (one breast) few years ago and needed bilateral mastectomy (one side for prophylaxis as she is BRACA2+). Dr Grant did reconstructive surgery on both breasts. He was very professional, polite, and charismatic. I likeed the fact that he took time to explain everything and did not rush us out of the office. He made both of us feel very comfortable and made us trust him. However, the results were not the best. Breasts don't look symmetrical and have lumps on the sides. After the surgery me and my mother told him we did not like the way breasts looked, however, he wanted to wait and see if they settle with some time. The breasts did not "fix" themselves so he had to do a little cutting and restitching right in the office to correct them. It looked better afterwards but still not perfect. It's hard for my mother to find good bra now as everything kind of overhangs from sides and front. Bottom line, we would not… recommend him to friends and/or family, unfortunately.

Devastated my insurance no longer covers Dr. Grant, everyone else will pale in comparison.

Dr Grant is very professional and friendly. I would recommend him to anyone who is searching for a plastic surgery. He made me feel very comfortable about it, listened to me and answered all of my questions. My surgery results were even better than I could have imagined. Thank you Dr Grant!

Not only is Dr Grant an exceptional surgeon, but he also has an incredibly bedside manner. He spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions and letting me know that I was in good hands. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is interested in having a cosmetic procedure!

I went to doctor robert grant for a breast reduction due to having really large breast which caused me to have chronic lower back pain neck pain etc I can't explain how pleased I am he is the best I highly recommend him to anyone who is seeking a professional breast reduction in new york city ! my breast are perfect .. I couldn't be happier ! My neck and shoulder pain have disappeared forever ! In just two months I've healed up and minimal scaring so pleased, perfect proportional breast for my frame ..!! Yay
