Dr. Robert W Grover, DDS

Dr. Robert Grover received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, Florida, after earning a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Dr. Grover keeps his knowledge and clinical skills updated each year by exceeding Florida's requirements for continuing dental education.
Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Grover was a television news reporter. He began his career with an internship with PBS's McNeil/Lehrer Newshour in New York City, then worked for the NBC and CBS affiliates in Salt Lake City and later Orlando (Channel 6). After a fulfilling career in broadcast journalism, Dr. Grover returned to school at Brevard Community College before moving to Gainesville with his family for full-time studies at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.
In the middle of his undergraduate studies, Dr. Grover spent two years as a full-time missionary, having been called by The Church of Jesus Christ of …Latter-day Saints to serve in France and Switzerland.
Following missionary service, Dr. Grover met his wife Melissa in the marching band at BYU, where she played clarinet, and he directed the band as drum major. The Grovers recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary. They live in Suntree with three of their four children, ages nine to nineteen. Their oldest son now attends Brigham Young University (his proud mom and dad's alma mater), and was recently called to serve a two-year mission to Thailand.
Dr. Grover is thrilled with his decision many years ago to begin the long process of changing career paths, and is so glad he did! "I love dentistry, and I love the people my team and I are blessed to serve through dentistry!"
