Dr. Robert Lee Grubb, MD

He was very rude and did not even care to discuss the problems that I had. He rushed through things like he was trying to see as many patients as he could in one day. Overall experience was horrible!

I had two surgeries regarding problems with my Trigeminal nerves caused by previous Radiation therapy for a brain tumor. Dr Grubb did a very good job correcting as much of my problems reasonable possible. If I had a need to I would see him again. My experiences with him were back in the fall of 1995.

Will not go back to him. He did not even want to help. Dont think he read radiologist report. Hes retire needs to retire full time.

I live several hours away from this Dr. My hometown Dr gave me a referral to this Dr. His office said they wouldn't make an appt until they got all my medical records, then they made my appt 3 weeks away, never called me, I had to call them. I can accept that, however they call me 2 days before the appt and tell me they don't have all my records, so I made more calls to get them expressed to him. Then call me less than 24 hours before my appt and cancelled. I had already made the 6 hour trip, paid for hotels, meals, gas, time off work for me and my husband because I have a spinal cord condition from a prior surgery, so I cannot make a drive like that within a day's time. They argued with me of when I had prior surgeries, dates, times then didn't offer to do the test they needed and said MY Dr should've known that the test was needed without telling him or me. Then after getting admin involved, they agreed that wasn't right, then his office calls me again and said that he is willing to… see me but the appt was actually cancelled because he didn't THINK he could help me. After putting out several hundreds of dollars, they cancelled less than 24 hrs before the appt, if it would have been me...they would've still charged my insurance. And after seeing the reviews....I think he is a lesson well paid for!!!

I can't get a dr to take me cause mine quit, so tried to get set up figure out why new pain symptoms, can't sleep cause of pain..this dr did "see" me, same as if stranger on street would have done...answered NONE of my questions, never looked to see which points were so painful, for foot always feeling something wadded up in my shoe, no answer..cost lot of money I didn't have that could have got same results of stranger on the street w/no medical degree

I Saw this Dr. in 2005 for extreme back pain could barely walk and had urinary retention, just to be told there was nothing wrong with me and practally told me it was in my head. In 2006 found a spine specialist at Des Pere hospital who believed in me and found i had 2 ruptured disc but unfortunately the surgery was not a success. Now i am back to square one and wanted to see a Dr again at barnes jewish that i chosed and since i already saw this Dr 2005 and have to see him again, now i am struggling if i should see him or will it just be a waist of time to just be degraded again. He does not have an all over good rating already on this site for bedside manor and not given a right diagnose, same as my appt went...oh what to do?!
