Dr. Robert Michael Haddad

My mother was a patient here. I'm not sure what their problem is - are they just too busy? Are they taking in too many patients? Trying to get actual care for her has been nothing but a pain in the butt. At her first appointment Dr. Haddad was very proud of the fact that when you call you get a person, you don't have to use the internet, etc. But what actually happens is, you get a person, they are super rushed and rude and they directly transfer you to someone's voicemail and you never get a call back. Please also note, he is not aligned with any hospital. My mother was having a horrendous colitis attack, they suggested the ER (20 hour wait and no beds available so they wouldn't admit her). Upon release she was still very sick. I received advice from a friend to call her doctor and ask for a direct admit. But guess what, they can't do that since he's not practicing at any hospitals. I so wish I would have known all this. If you are over 65 and relatively healthy this… practice is probably OK. But if you have any underlying conditions, PLEASE seek a doctor that has the time to take care of you!!

This “Dr” would not treat my father because he wasn’t vaccinated. Started to debate him in the office. Serious Heath concern. Not Covid related. Shame and disgust for someone in the medical field to turn down a man in need of help do to their political view. Especially considering we know that the shot does not protect you from getting nor giving it. You should definately quit your day job Doc!

What an amazing physician. Made me totally comfortable at first meeting. Best Doctor I’ve had in 62 years. Has helped me with my health issues to insure I now live a better life. Have all the trust in the world for this man. He’s extremely intelligent and compassionate. His staff is equally as capable. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment to see what a true Doctor should be like. A true healer.

This office overbook's there visits, then you have to wait over an hour to see your Dr. Also there is a different Dr there every other visit that I went to.NO Dr has stayed there long enough to understand your needs!!

Appointment was for 10Am waited outside for 20min then I was put in a room an waited another 20 min, then they put me in another room an I waited for the Dr to come and check me.She NEVER came so I left and no one at that office even asked me what the issue was!! They over book there an then expect you to wait OVER an hour to be seen.

When my husband and I moved here 3 years ago our friends raved about and recommended Dr. Haddad and so we interviewed him. We were VERY impressed and had all our medical records sent to his office. BIG MISTAKE. After initial few visits with him WE NOW NEVER SEE HIM. IT'S BAIT AND SWITCH. Before this happened to us we heard an irate patient in the lobby complaining about this bait and switch practice. We ask every time for him but get either a Physician Assistant or a new doctor that we know nothing about, who knows nothing about us and who we did not choose. I wonder if Dr. Haddad even goes into his practice as we never see him walking between patient rooms or checking into our room or talking to us, or with his staff. Other practices who have multiple doctors are up front about it and list their doctors with their backgrounds so patients may choose their doctor. In the 3 years of going to his office we have now been switched to 5 different doctors or Physician Assistants! It's… like a revolving door with visiting doctors. Not sure why. The last doctor we had was excellent so we relaxed about using his office but now that doctor is gone too with no explanation or contact information in less than a year. Can never get Dr. Haddad on the phone either. Quality of care is a real problem here in SW FL = in the North we never had these problesm, always saw the doctor, could talk with them on the phone, and had great continuity of care. Everything is rushed in his office now which makes you feel like it is strictly to get as many patients in and out just for the money and to pay for his new office. Like cattle on a conveyor belt. Got worse with the huge new office. Less and less personal. The staff are nice but seem scared. None of the other doctors seem to last more than a year and all seem terribly overworked and stressed out. My husband has many complex health issues so continuity of care is very important for his health and well being. Once when I had not gone to Dr. Haddad's office for awhile since I was not sick, he canceled us as patients, blocked us from the patient portal and refused to refill our prescriptions - all with no warning! We were shocked! When I called his office thinking that there was a mistake, the receptionist said that Dr. Haddad requires that patients see him at least every 6 months. No one every mentioned this policy! Why when you are not sick and why when you are snow birds and its not possible to visit twice a year and why when you are not sick? His website says everything that every patient wants and needs but the practice is very different.

I've been a patient for over a year now and he's the best doctor I've ever had and I'm 62 years old. He takes excellent care of my husband and I. He is very patient and caring and makes sure we always have everything we need for our health care. He's a blessing. I only wish I had found him sooner. If we're sick the office takes us right away, they check up on your health even on the weekends. I trust him with all my health care needs. He gives great referrals for extended care needs. He's the most pleasant personable doctor I've ever met.

Dr Haddad is a wonderful Mayo trained Internist. Unbelievable diagnostician - great empathetic listener. I have been a patient for over 5 years and am so grateful for his good care!

Always see a PA he never has time for you.
