Dr. Robert Haydel graduated from LSU School of Medicine of New Orleans in 1988. His internship was at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge. His residency was completed at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina, until May 1991. Dr. Haydel then entered a combined fellowship in Asthma, Allergy and Immunology sponsored by Tulane Medical Center and Oschner. He completed his fellowship in June 1993 and opened Haydel Asthma & Allergy Clinic in 1993.Dr. Haydel received the Dean's Award from the LSU School of Medicine for leadership and dedication. He received the teaching award from his interns while at East Carolina School of Medicine. He has co-published several research articles in the major medical journals in his field, including but not limited to Fish Allergy and Gastresophageal Reflux Associated Asthma in Children. He received the Louisiana Patient's Choice Award in 2008. He has been selected as one of the best doctors in his field as voted in 2009, 2010 and …2011.We would love to make a difference for you.
