Dr. Robert Adam Herbstsomer

Dr. Herbstsomer's treatment of patients is nothing short of appalling. Following a severe suicide attempt, I found myself under Dr. Herbstsomer's so-called care, and I can only describe it as a shocking and devastating experience, marked by his unprofessionalism and woeful lack of expertise. When I attempted to advocate for improved post-discharge care, Dr. Herbstsomer responded with passive-aggressive and dismissive comments that only exacerbated my already precarious mental state. My efforts to seek better care and additional resources after discharge were essentially silenced, leaving me in a state of hopelessness that swiftly worsened my mental health. During our brief, minuscule sessions, Adam consistently refused to acknowledge or even acknowledge the legitimate concerns I raised regarding my post-discharge care plans, failing to take any meaningful action. As I had warned them, the post-discharge treatment plan proved utterly ineffective for me, leaving me to grapple with my… care on my own. Dr. Herbstsomer displayed a complete absence of empathy and urgency in assisting me while I was in a high-risk state. It is inconceivable that a suicidal patient should ever be subjected to the care of such a passive-aggressive and dismissive doctor. Dr. Herbstsomer is utterly unsuitable for the field of psychiatry. His negative comments and his overall demeanor acted as catalysts that exacerbated my deteriorating state; he undeniably caused more harm than good.
