Dr. Robert Orin Hoffman, MD

Rude and yelled at my three year old son for jiggling his legs. staff unprofessional and all were coughing. Son got pink eye after eye dropper poked him In the eye. Doctor in big rush.

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Hoffman for 14 years. He is truly amazing. The doctors before him told me that my daughter would end up with a glass eye because there was no way to save her eye.My aunt heard about him from a friend. They sang his praises. So we made an appt. It took us 3 months to get into him but it was well worth it. My daughter has had 2 eye surgerys but has never lost her eye. In fact her vision has improved so much that she now wears contacts. I also now take my 14 year old step daughter to him because I know that he is the best.There are times that we have waited 2 hours for our appointment and it does take a while to get into him but I would wait as long as necessary to see the one doctor that has made sure that my daughter can see. He is the greatest doctor. If you are hesitant about going because of the waiting period I suggest you rethink it.A co-worker moved to Utah 20 years ago so her sister could be closer to Dr. Hoffman.

Dr. Hoffman was our daughter's specialist for the three years we were in Salt Lake City for school. He performed a surgery on her as well as prescribing glasses and giving check-ups. He is incredibly skilled, and I highly recommend him. I don't think we ever waited less than an hour at the office, but it was worth the wait. Sometimes he can come across as condescending or rushed, but you see that's not the case once you get to know him. He really cares about his patients.
