Dr. Robert Holloway, MD

Dr. Holloway knows his stuff, he's just too busy to spend time with patients. My endometrial cancer came back and all he told me was I needed a hysterectomy. He didn't take any time to explain my diagnosis. I asked him if I could go back on Megace, which had previously reversed my condition twice, he told me it wouldn't work. At the pre-op appointment he seemed like he would be willing to try it again. He's too busy to ever remember me when I go back in. His nurse, Jasmine, is a piece of work. When she what my reservations were about the surgery, I told her I was concerned about side effects. I am on a few online support groups and was concerned about what some of the ladies had experienced. Her reply was that I shouldn't read Google so much. Also, she made me sign surgery consent forms while I was a sobbing mess and not in a mental state to do so. She hovered over me repeatedly telling me I needed to sign them and asking if I was going to sign. Dr. Holloway knows his… stuff, but he has way too much going on, and the rest of his staff isn't too helpful and just tries to rush everything.

I could never get a MEDICARE appt. with him as he never called back and half the time they DON'T answer the PHONE!

I am grateful of Dr. Holloway as he is the reason I am alive today. Thanks for all Dr. Holloway, you are the Best!!

Great and very intelligent man. Surgical skills are much better than his office/bedside manners. I think he’s too busy and a lot on his plate so he is unable to spend time with his patients. I felt I was a waste of his time. After 1 year off chemo he released me from his care. Seemed like he washed his hands of me. I’ve felt abandoned. Scared of recurrence. But, he never set up any after care or instructions as to how I go on afterwards. No tests or care. As a woman with GTD that’s a lonely place to be without any care. Although I’m feeling uneasy, I still appreciate what he DID do for me. Thank u,to Robert as well as all his staff. Heather M.

I live on the East coast of Florida almost 2 hours from Dr. Holloway and when diagnosed with cancer my GYN said there was only one doctor in the State she would refer me to and it was Dr. Holloway. I have been treated by him for the past 4 years, through surgery, chemo, CAT scans, PET scans and radiation. He is truly the BEST. Funny because all the people that rated him poorly forget one thing and that is they are still alive !!! And in my opinion Dr. Holloway is the reason. He is caring , considerate and most of all professional.

I was referred with cervical cancer. After chemo & radiation, I had a full hysterectomy and suffered greatly & he did nothing to ease my pain. His bedside manner is awful. I have to have a pap, anal, and abdominal exam every 3 months and he has huge hands and hurts me so bad I cry. He laughs and acts like it’s a joke & makes me feel mocked. He rubs my shoulders & leg & makes me very uncomfortable. I beg to see the nurse practitioner every appt. This has been an awful nightmare.

My visit to doctor was just exam for a possible ovaries removal. I was waiting in a cold room for an hour. When finally he came and start to do his checking I felt that his touch was harsh and painful. When I complained he was carless and mad a joke. I felt very bad and had pain days after this visit. I would never recommend this doctor to anybody and let him do surgery to me.

No person should have to wait 3 hours for a post op appointment. Post operative appointments when patients are still barely able to walk or sit and he leaves them waiting for at least 3 hours. (I was told by other patients that they always wait 3-4 hours) Of course, he is happy to cater to the many drug representatives that breeze right in with no regards to the patients waiting. He is seriously the worst doctor that I have ever encountered in my 40 years of appointments. Bed side manner was OK at best! The staff was okay but there was no management at all! I will not ever return here - even if my life depended on seeing him, he was not even a little helpful and made my condition much worse! I am curious of the validity of these reviews because the patients I spoke with felt the same as I do. Save yourself - drive an extra two hours to get the help you need, it will save you time and your health!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Holloway is the best in the USA, I am a cancer survivor, thank to him..his knowledge, approach and quiet sense of caring is perfect..I would not ever engage another physician for this issue, he is supported by one of the best Hospitals in America..Thanks for my Life Dr. H..

He was my surgeon last year for ovarian cancer. I found him to be an excellent surgeon but a very rude, arrogant and uncaring man. When I went back after 10 months I felt very emotional at being alive and appreciative of him. I waited 2 hours to see him and he needed in with 3 nurses, did a quick pelvic exam, didn't check out touch my abdomen, or check my 7" incision. He didn't ask how I was doing and didn't even want to put in an order for 1 other blood test besides the ca125 as a followup and tumor marker. I will never go back to him!
