I went one month ago to see Dr Hoofnagle for UTIs. I explained my C. Difficle history and how I needed to be very careful about when and what antibiotic to take. 2 days after visit someone from front desk ( I assume) called to tell me a PX for Cipro was called in, no explanation as to why. I told her 2 days earlier Dr H agreed he would never prescribe Cipro. She went to talk to him and came back with another C Difficle causing anitibiotic. When I stressed I had no symptoms and asked why he wanted to treat asymptomatic bacteria she just said he said I need it. So I asked about taking a prophylactic Vancomycin and she said Dr H said that was only in an I.V. Which is totally wrong. He ordered a CT Scan that discovered an Ovarian Cyst, that needs to be followed every 3 months (menopausal). Dr H office never informed me, if I had not gotten a copy from radiologist I would never have known. Two other doctors, one an Infectious Disease specialist said a patient should never be treated for… asymptomatic bacteria.

I was verbally threatened by the doctors . As a senior citizen , it was terrible to experience something so bad . This doctor is even banned from using the hospital for his bedside manner .

Waits are long and the doctor is arrogant and rude to patients . The tech is rude as well .

Dr. H is so knowledgeable and informative at each visit. He has a pleasant bedside manner that I wish all doctors had. I am so glad I found him and we'll go to him for the rest of my life. I highly recommend him without any reservations

Awesome physician and Urologist and he is the best of the best in my opinion. We have endured a life threatening illness which has been successfully treated so far. My family and I could not have found a physician as knowledgeable , compassionate, and genuinely caring than Dr, H. We were never rushed through his busy office and he always spent asuch time with us as needed. He is among the best physicians I have ever encountered and we are grateful to have him as my doctor.

The fact that I waited 2 hours and 40 minutes after my appoinment was scheduled and I understand it happens rarely, but it happens. When I saw the doctor, his bedside manner was yelling, rude, arrogant, and he let me know he is the doctor and I'm unimportant.

Office staff is very rude! Trying to get an appt is almost impossible even if there is a problem. Dr and office staff refuses to work with patient and pharmacy on medication plans to help ease with co pays; excuses are a dime a dozen! Although the doctor is good he forgot where he came from!

Horrible experience -- missed a diagnosis
