Dr. Robert Glenn Howen, MD

I love the staff st Sutter. The medical assistants and office staff are very kind. I am 33 weeks pregnant and noticed that my baby for a couple days wasn’t moving much. My doctor was out of town and I unfortunately had to see another doctor, Dr.Howen. He was very abrasive and told me that I was over-reacting and to stop look for problems with my baby. He didn’t bother explaining anything to me. I started to cry and he was so cold. I would never recommend him as a doctor for anyone. Dr.Nakashima on the other hand is my doctor in that same office and she is absolutely wonderful!

Common courtesy is you arrive 15 minutes early for an appointment you would think they'd have the same courtesy with your time.The medical assistant called me back for my appointment took my vitals and advised me it would be a few minutes for them to clean the exam room, I waited a full hour in the room waiting to be placed in the exam room. The whole hour I waited I was never given the common cuortesy of being advised that the wait time was gonna be long. After so long I felt as if they had forgotten about me. The staff was very rude to me when I brought it to there attention.As with other reviewers on yelp Dr. Howen is very short with you and horrible bedside manner. He acts as if your wasting his time and doesn't take the time to review your medical information with you.I would advise everyone to go some place else, don't waste your time or money with this office.
