Dr. Robert Gerard Jakubowski, MD

We are so happy our dr J. Is back we live in Corpus Christi and dr jakubowski has been our doctor since we’ve been in our teens. We would follow him to moon an back. :) When we found out he was back from his early retirement I got down on my knees an thank the lord for bringing him back to work. Thanks again Dr Jakubowski for being a great caring doctor.

Been seeing Dr J for more than five years. Very pleased with the medical care I've received.

I called Dr office on Wednesday, asking staff to gave Dr call me. No call came. I called office again on Thursday, asking to have Dr call me. No call received on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I will fire this Dr on Monday.

Dr. Jakubowski was, and is, the pinnacle of what I consider a great doctor should be. He listened intently and acknowledged everything that I had to say. I truly felt like he wanted to help me and took all the necessary time to make sure that his diagnoses were accurate and as precise as possible. He talked me through every part of what was to come and calmed me down because he cared not only about how I felt, but also about me as a person. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Dr. J is a awesome doctor, very kind Dr listen to his patients without feeling rushed, Dr J makes every effort on trying to have me as healthily as I can , I wish I was still in Texas I would be my choice of doctors to see

Dr. Jakubowski has been my Internal Medicine Physician for approximately three years. Dr. Jakubowski is currently providing care for me for multiple medical conditions and I want to say, he is the most amazing physician that I've ever had providing care for me. He truly cares about his patients and listens to you. He spends time with each patient and will answer all of your questions. Physicians like Dr. Jakubowski don't exist much anymore, as it's quiet rare to find a physician these days that will listen to you and extend such an immense amount of compassion in his care for you. He is very knowledgeable in so many different types of medical conditions and will ensure you receive the best medical care. Dr. Jakubowski is very flexible as far as scheduling your appointment, meaning that he always tries to make himself available for his patients. His patients well being is his number one priority. I find that scheduling appointment to see him are effortless. Most times I am able… to get in the same day. If you call his office, you can leave a message for him to call you back and he will do so as promptly as possible. His office staff is incredible too! They are very friendly and will always remember your name as you walk through the door. The medical clerk at the front that checks in patients is one of my favorite staff members and her name is Michelle J. She will greet you with a smile and really makes you feel welcomed into the medical office. Dr. Jakubowski is very thorough at each appointment that you have with him. When you leave his office, all of your questions will be answered. He does not rush through his patients, nor does he treat you like a number, like so many other physicians these days do. Dr. Jakubowski is very well known all around the area and is highly respected. He has been recognized as one of the Top Doctors in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Jakubowski and his staff are wonderful and I highly recommend him. If you are looking for a GREAT, HONEST, CARING, KNOWLEDGEABLE physician, then you should make an appointment with Dr. Jakubowski. I trust Dr. Jakubowski 100% with my healthcare needs.

Dr. Jakubowski has been my Internal Medicine physician for about two years. I must say, he is a VERY compassionate, knowledgeable and caring physician. He genuinely cares about his patients and spends time with you. He also always personally calls his patients after each test to report the results, usually the same day. Most physicians have their nurse call, but not Dr. Jakubowski. He takes immense interest in his patients well being. He possess exceptional bedside manners, which is very rare to see these days with a physician. I trust Dr. Jakubowski with all of my healthcare needs.

He is the first Dr. that I have seen that has always listened to all of my concerns, and made his decisions based on what is best for me. Dr. Jakubowski is always friendly and has never left the exam room without making sure that he answers all of my questions/concerns.
