Dr. Robert Elton Jarvis, DDS

I called 3 holistic dentists in the Bay Area and they all told me that they don't pull teeth, and all referred me to Dr. Jarvis. One of them told me that Dr. Jarvis is the one for the work I inquired about (removal of periodontal ligament and 1 mm of bone). It might be that I was lucky to get schedued. They usually insist on referrals. I got most of my questions answered before I was seen. I was glad that they are quite accomodating for my long drive that I didn't have to make a special trip just for consultation. They have advanced equipment there (digital xray, ozone). Dr. Jarvis is a special kind, very friendly, talkative, and happy. He didn't challenge my request like normal dentists would do to make me feel like I shouldn't ask. He was agreeable with removing root canaled teeth. Most other dentists wouldn't do and wouldn't recognize or admit that those teeth have gone rotten around the roots. It worries me when they are not able to tell or don't tell. Dr. Jarvis was very good at… minimizing pain and worked very fast while still talked a lot. I was happy with the result and was given the option to stay awake during this procedure. He injected ozone and homeo before suturing up. Homeo was extre cost that insurance won't cover. I found out that this is not optional after I arrived, which was OK with me since if I had gone with my other dentist who took mercury out of my teeth, I still would have to have that. I was happy with the work and the price was appropriate for the type of work. I'm very happy with this office because many offices out there don't seem to have the willingness to talk to new patients without a consultation, or they don't want to listen to your concerns and do what you expect.
