Dr. Robert Erin Jones, MD

Dr. Jones, his PA Paula, and office staff are all wonderful. I have been with this office since moving to the area 10+ years ago. I have never had a complaint. The staff knows me and my family by name. They know our medical history without my having to explain it every time. It is a warm welcoming place to go to be treated. Both Dr Jones and Paula have a wonderful bedside manner. They take as little or as long as needed with me to ensure I fully understand the issue. The receptionist is a joy. With sick visits, I am always able to get in promptly. With the childrens' visits, both Dr. Jones and Paula speak to the kids directly, not like some other docs do, treating them like they are not even in the room. For as long as I am in the area and Dr. Jones is practicing medicine, he will be my doctor.

Dr. Jones is a wonderful doctor. Really great with the kids. I also like how he is easy to talk to but his receptionist is rude. I think the wait time is a little hectic especially considering the designated kids room is the size of a closet, without toys and looks as though it has never been cleaned. I will continue to suffer the rude receptionist and dirty rooms simply because I really trust him as a Dr. and I have had my fair share of bad doctors.

Dr. Jones has always been extremely caring and detailed in his services. His staff is always professional and courteous. Whenever I call to get in that day, his staff always gets me in.

I was forced into this office because of a health insurance switch. I was twenty at the time. There were major underlying health problems that were not addressed by this staff until I was hospitalized. Unless you are older, you are assumed healthy or lying by the staff of this office. Sounds ridiculous, I'm not kidding. The receptionist Eve, I believe is her name, is impossible. Will put you on hold and forget about you completely, happened multiple times. They don't work with you at all. They don't follow up. The PA is very sweet and knowledgeable but good luck getting the proper medication from this office.

I have been with Dr Jones for 8 years. I do really like him and my children love him and are very comfortable. He is very good with them and things are fine if the kids are healthy. My youngest (2yrs) has had multiple health issues over the past several months and she has ONLY been treated as the 11:00 ear infection. I havent seen them review her chart and I have had to remind them of her past illnesses routinely with no referral to anyone else. She is now faced with possible leukemia that had to be diagnosed elsewhere. They tell you they will call medicine in and I have had to call back, long after office hours, to remind them that my sick child needs her antibiotics. Office staff is exceptionally rude and inappropriate. I have heard the secretary and other staff speaking poorly of other patients and their families while I wait over an hour to see the doctor. Terrible and sad.

The front office staff is horrendous, and the office manager is lazy. I have heard the receptionist 'tell off' patients while I am in the waiting room. The office manager doesn't want to complete referrals. I was actually told one time to find the doctor I wanted...hello? if i knew the specialists name, I'd tell you. I asked if they expected me to go through the phone book and individually call them all and find out if they took my insurance. I was told that my child was not their responsibilty, and that 'I had to take care of them'. Isn't that what I was doing by attempting to get a referral? My insurance told me that what they were telling me to do, was their job, not mine. I am sure the people in the waiting room enjoyed the show, as the glitter haired lady yelled at me over the phone. You can also expect to wait an hour or more after your appt. to be seen, in a dirty waiting room.Dr. Jones has always been caring and informed. His PA, Paula, is also very nice. They make my children… comfortable, and have been knowledgable about some very specific medical conditions they have.The entire problem with is practice could be cleared up with some firings and hirings of support staff. You should not work in the medical field if you cannot be caring, compassionate, and have empathy....even if you are just the support staff. It would make all the difference...from a horrible rating to outstanding.

Office Staff are RUDE and inconsiderate. I waited at least a hour each time I went. Time actually spent with Dr. Jones was very little, you spend most your time in the waiting room.
