A New Britain native, Dr. Robert Kania is an experienced, caring dentist who has been serving the greater New Britain dental community for 27 years. Dr. Kania graduated from Pulaski High School in 1970 and the University of Connecticut in Storrs in 1974.
After graduating from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1981, Dr. Kania began his practice in New Britain. He proudly continues the tradition of his father, Dr. Henry Kania, and his great-uncle, Dr. Joe Kania, who served New Britain’s dental needs from the 1930’s to the 1980’s. Because of this tradition, Dr. Robert Kania has been privileged to serve some families for three, and even four generations.
Dr. Kania enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry for patients of all ages. He continues to progress in his dental education, allowing him to keep up with the latest dental innovations and advances. Most recently, he has added implant restoration and Invisalign orthodontics to the practice.
In his spare …time, Dr. Kania enjoys spending time with his family, watching the Boston Red Sox, and going to the beach. He has also been an avid runner throughout his life, completing the Hartford Marathon amongst various half marathons and local road races.
