Dr. Robert Kavaler, MD

He's a nice guy until he's questioned, thinks he can handle any medical issue and he can't. Sometimes you need a specialist. Hey listen we all have family but I don't appreciate long cell phone calls with his aunt while in the examining room, devote your time to your patient, you call call your aunt anytime. Not all labs that fall within range mean the patient doesn't need medicine, you need to learn to treat the patient not the labs.

ive been dr k's patient for many years and love him, but agree that the practice has become so large that the care has diminished somewhat. He is very popular with patients and sometimes seems not to really listen, because he's preoccupied with something else, or convinced he knows you so well already. I find your best care here often comes from the nurse practitioners.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kavaler's for 15 years, I dont think there is abetter doctor anywhere.

Dr. Kavaler is the most down-to-earth,unpretentious,easy-to-talk with MD I have met in years. He actually listens, and genuinely seems interested in hearing patient's concerns about their options for treatment. I highly recommend him.

Not sure if I am unique in my opinion here but I have been his patient for several years. Sadly, the practice he shares has become an example of the "new" mass market medicine. High volume, minimal time, little human contact. In my recent annual physical, he spent roughly 8 minutes in the room with me. Assistants did hearing and breathing and EKG. My appointment was 1:15 and I was back home by 2:15. Very disappointing since I am sure this wasn't a cheap visit. I have other physicians that are total opposite and spend much more time and seem genuinely interested in my care. Look around elsewhere before settling here.
