Wow! So glad I was referred to this great surgeon. He is the only surgeon in the NY area who removes bunions without cutting you open. Surgery was performed in his office with novacaine. No stitches used and no hardware put into my foot.

This surgeon is great! He removed my bunion in his office using a dental burr while i was watching TV! I didn’t need any pre now clearance tests and had NO stitches or plates and screws! 3 other surgeons I went to see all wanted me in an operating room under general anesthesia with screws. Great experience!

I am so glad I found Dr. Kirell! After searching for years I could not find any other surgeon willing to correct my bunion without general anesthesia and in an office setting. Every person I’ve ever known about that had the regular bunion surgery always said how painful and disabling it was and they would never get their other foot fixed. Dr. Kirell just made some tiny holes in my foot and squeezed my bunion out through them! I had no stitches or screws and walked out of his office. This surgeon is what I would call a his gem!

I traveled from Silver Spring, MD to have Dr. Kirell operate on my feet in his office. I had a family to take care of and there was no way I could be off my feet and not driving for over 2 months like other surgeons wanted. I’m doing very well and glad i took the long trip. Why other surgeons never learned this procedure I’ll never understand…but glad I found this surgeon.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kirell. I originally had a surgical consult at the Hospital for Special Surgery where the doc wanted to cut me open, put screws in my foot and wanted me off my foot for 2 months. I met someone that was operated on by Dr. Kirell and had a totally different experience. I had my consult and surgery with Dr. Kirell. He performed the surgery in his beautiful office; did it under local anesthesia and did it without any cutting or stitches and no screws or pins. I walked right from the start and drove 2 days later! Great surgeon!

Many doctors wanted to remove my bunions using long scars with many screws. Dr Kirell was amazing as he removed my bunion via a tiny puncture and i could drive the next day! Amazing!
