Dr. Robert Louis Kistner, MD

Dr.Kistner, on the night of my motorcycle accident, tried to send me home with a serious concussion. Smarter people prevailed and I stayed in the emergency room until I was able to walk and talk 3 days later. Next he didn't have a contract with Blue Cross Blue Shield so he charged me his full rate and has taken me to collections ! I have offered him the amount BCBS offered me to pay him and he hasn't accepted it. I never consented to his services nor did I ever meet him! Sad

His bedside manner is awful. He refused to answer questions, was condescending and arrogant. We could deal with his attitude had he not ripped my brother's new stoma (by another surgeon) with his rough exam. Dr Kistner caused him to have another 12" of intestine removed and ANOTHER stoma surgery. Thanks, Dr Kistner. This state will have less sick people when you finally retire someday. Sad.

reassuring humorous matter of fact

No insurance affiliation and refuses to accept what the insurance company pays. He bills you for more than is the norm according to the insurance company. The hospital calls him in knowing full well what insurance you have yet they do not care either

Went to emergency room with severe abdominal pain dr k was reassuring and unassuming in his demeanor had hole in my colon surgery uneventful

Dr. K actually took the time to draw pictures of my operation. explaining the steps that were required then explaining anticipated downtime from work and over recovery from my colon surgery

met him in the emergency room was in the operating room in about an hour. it was 230 am yet everything was explained to me all my questions were answered. i was discharged the next day. at my office visit there was no wait and he escorted me to the room. cordial compassionate is the only thing that comes to mind

I went to the ER and CT Scan showed gall bladder issues but not enough for them to admitt me at the time. I followed up with Dr. Kistner office the office was able to get me in on Tuesday and was very helpful. I spoke with Dr. Kistner and I had my gall bladder removed two days later. Dr. kistner was excellent explaining the procedure and what needed to be done. His office staff was also very help with the information I needed to do surgery.
