Dr. Robert Edward Kneisley, MD

He is wonderful. He always listens patiently to my concerns and always knows exactly what to do for me.

It was my first time visit with Dr. Kneisley. The doctor didn't listen to me and was condescending towards me. The nurse that took my vitals was arrogant. I would never return or recommend him to another person.

This doctor was extremely caring, professional, and knowledgeable! I highly recommend him along with the other physicians in his office.

I have changed to another doctor that actually seems to care about my health concerns instead of just writing a prescription and dismissing me. I am an insulin dependent diabetic with chronic heart/lung ailments, and Dr, Kneisley was decidedly NOT pro-active in concern over my diabetes. he never checked my feet, and the only time i had A1C testing done was while I was hospitalized, no regular testing. He overprescribed blood pressure medications which resulted in kidney problems, and never consulted with my cardiologist or nephrologist before prescribing. His office staff frequently screwed up when calling my prescriptions in to the pharmacy - they usually forgot at least one or two, which meant I had to make additional trips to the pharmacy to get the ones they had missed. They actually gave me a prescription where they had the dosage as three times what I was supposed to be taking, causing me to have dangerously low blood pressure. When I needed paperwork filled out, they would fill… it out incorrectly, or delay sending it where it needed to be. My new doctor has taken me off of four different medications that Dr. Kneisley prescribed, and i am actually doing much better now. I got the feeling that the guy is only in it to make money off of as many office and hospital room visits as he can get, with no real concern for the overall health of his patients. I would not recommend him. I only stayed with him for so long because it took me this long to find another doctor that was accepting new patients.

Dr. Kneisley was thorough in recommending testing, but he did not listen to me and did not take the time to understand what was going on with me. He prescribed medications that interacted in a very bad way with medication that I was already taking, and then did not recognize my resulting symptoms as being caused by the drugs. He simply did not take the time that I deserve as his patient, and did not listen.Even worse, a nurse or technician in his office gave me the most terrifying EKG that I can imagine! Her manner was the exact opposite of caring and reassuring, she smelled like cigarette smoke, and she left my breasts exposed during the exam, even though I tried to cover myself up. She gave no concern to my dignity as a patient.Needless to say, I am searching for a new doctor.
