Dr. Robert Paul Lam, MD

I had a great experience with Dr. Lam. Even through the hospital ER was bursting at the seams, he took the time make me feel cared for.

Uncompassionate and not thorough. Doesn't seem to actually care about people at all. Cares more about getting paid and moving onto the next person.

Horrible service and bedside manners. I went to the ER with the worst lupus erythematosus flair up and he tried to send home without treating me in the ER. I asked gor a blanket and some water and they refused because I was getting "discharged soon" which was a lie. I was there for an extended HR and finally his rude nurse came with a Tramadol shots and prednisone pills. Never once did i ask for any narcotics I just wanted them to give me some type of medication to treat me at that very moment. I was sent home with 400MG OF IBUPROFEN instead of the usual 800 MG a low dose of PREDNISONE. I am very appalled with the service I received.

I saw Dr. Lam at the Memorial Hospital ER, where I was sent by my physician for possible heart issues. Dr Lam came into the exam room with a PA who introduced herself. He never introduced himself or spoke to me until he asked three very abrupt questions and then went back to the computer monitor. He never came back into the room to give me an update on what was happening to me, what my diagnosis was or why I was being discharged with nothing further happening. Zero compassion. But boy, I sure did get a nice hefty bill for all the "excellent" care.

We had a great experience at the emergency department in Colorado. The staff were caring and attentive. Dr Lam was professional, courteous and thorough.
