Dr. Robert Evan Lane, DDS

Robert E. Lane, D.M.D., P.A.  
      Dr. Lane was born in New York City and grew up in the suburbs of  Westchester County, New York. He obtained his B.A. in Psychology from BostonUniversity and D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.  After living and studying in Boston for eight years, Dr. Lane returned to his place of birth and started his residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC.  During this rigorous year, Dr. Lane became well trained in multiple aspects of dentistry, including how to manage medically compromised patients.  After successfully completing his residency program, Dr. Lane moved to South Florida where he has been practicing for over 15 years. 
      Even though Dr. Lane dedicated many years of studying to become a fine practitioner, he still strives to learn about the newest and latest technological advances in dentistry. Dr. Lane completed the course of study at The Dawson Academy where an emphasis on complete oral …health was mastered. This included learning, and understanding, the complexity of the oral environment through functional occlusion.  This didactic and hands on environment allows Dr. Lane to concentrate on reconstructive dentistry, and of course cosmetic dentistry. 
      After completion of the curriculum at The Dawson Academy, Dr. Lane still wanted to pursue his continuing education.   He is a founding member of one of the local Spear's Dental Education study clubs. Being a member of this premier study club means that the participating members commit time every month to meet with their colleagues to discuss the current trends in dentistry, as well as to discuss patient cases.  Dr. Lane also travels to the Spear Education facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, yearly for advanced training. Dr. Lane is also a member of the ITI association that concentrates it's curriculum on the placement and restoration of dental implants. 
      Dr. Lane has also been a guest speaker at the University of Florida College of Dentistry Hialeah Clinic. 
In his spare time, Dr. Lane enjoys golf, photography, participating in and attending automotive events, and traveling with his wife.
