Dr. Robert Raymond Lastomirsky, MD

It has been a very long time since I have had such a thorough Family History, Physical Exam and evaluation! Dr. Lastomirsky answered all of my questions in a caring and friendly manner.

Daughter in charge of Dr. Lastomirsky. Told me he was ordering a ultrascan for my feet, peripheral neuropathy,. Feet always cold. He said would have test to check circulation. The lab says he wrote leg pain on order. Have no leg pain, pain in feet. He reported negative report but learned over RAVE collection that feet not done, reason for going to ultrasound. Dr.'s office refuses to give me a copy of his order that he gave to RAVE. I have collection for test billed for arms, arms not done, and no test done to check circulation to my feet. Medicare paid $189 for leg ultrasound when legs not the problem. They are both incompetent. His daughter runs the office and refuses to give e a copy of the order. Incompetence and lack of cooperation with Dr. Lastomirsky, and with Lab RAVE who put my bill in collections. He does not have time to pay attention as typing on his computer every minute in the office. Does not even look at patient, and irritated his concentration bothered with… questions. Did not read the report or he would have seen my feet were not done. He just told me negative, but feet not done I learned from the lab. Stay out of this "twilight zone" family. Medicare paid n$189 for test not needed, and I am in collections for US on my arms. This is incompetence and lack of accountability. I have a right to see the order and daughter who came aboard afterward will not give me a copy of the order. Wonder why!

Dr. Lastomirsky is a fantastic diagnostician.He is one of the most brilliant physicians it has been my pleasure to know.

The reason I rated him poor on following up is because in my opinion he abuses the "need" for "follow-up" visits. Doctors, particulary internists, make their money on follow-up visits especially here in south Florida where they have far fewer patients during the off-season (5-6 months)/

waiting time can be long. That is because he listens to all his patients and does not rush them.
