Dr. Robert Wendell Later, MD

Wonderful staff. Dr. Later is very smart. He does seem to be in a rush however, it can be difficult to ask questions. I recommend taking a list of questions so you don't forget any questions you may have. The nurses and office staff are amazing, and Dr. Later is incredible. My only complaint is that the visit can be very quick and rushed.

Dr. Later has been a family doctor of ours for many years. He took such great care of all my prenatal needs and saw I was transitioning well into mommyhood after delivery. Dr. Later is incredibly knowledgeable and provided lots of information at each appointment for me to study. As a patient, I genuinely felt he really was concerned for my health. His office staff is terrific, always happy and I'm never afraid to approach any of them if I have a question - I just love them! I loved my experience with Dr. Later, he worked wonderfully for our little family and I can't thank him enough for all he did for us. I highly recommend him!

My husband and I first started trying for a baby about a year ago. I was seeing a different doctor, at first. All that doctor did was put me on clomid and follow up with an appointment and a blood sample. I would get a response that it was working and that was it. Month after month, that is all that would happen. I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Later to get a second opinion. I learned more in that one appointment than I did in seven months with the other doctor. Dr. Later offered more options and recommendations for us and he actually cares about our progress. I also like how he calls me back. I don't mind talking to a nurse, but it's nice to know that I can ask questions when he calls me and I can get a direct answer.His staff are great. They treat me well and they always have smiles on their faces when I walk in. I feel comfortable and welcome in their office.I would definitely recommend him to other people. I know that he will not give up and will exhaust all… options before telling us we can't have a baby. he is willing to find the answer.

DR LATER WAS A VERY CARING DOCTOR. HE ALWAYS LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS AND ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION. I DID NOT HAVE ONE APPOINTMENT THAT WENT OVER 15 MINUTES ( EXCEPT FOR MY ULTRASOUND APPOINTMENT) THE OFFICE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS. WHEN DELIVERING MY BABY DR LATER WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL. I WAS VERY NERVOUS ABOUT DELIVERY, BECAUSE THIS BABY WAS MY FIRST, BUT HE MADE IT A VERY RELAXED ENVIRONMENT AND MADE MY FIRST PREGNANCY A LOW STRESS ONE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM AND I ALREADY HAVE TO A NUMBER OF PEOPLE. I WILL BE GOING TO HIM FOR MY NEXT PREGNANCY.

well his office team is just really bad, the girls didn't know what they are doing, they always do bills wrong on my husbands name, I paid my bill and they send me to collection BY MISTAKE TWICE!I got really mad and they try to resolve the problem but they didn't know how to do it.the girls are so lost, they don't know about billing, they don't call you if they have a problem, they are so rude, they don't call when something is wrong or if they don't know your information.they always sent wrong bills to the wrong insurance and than you will call they not even say sorry we were wrong!his team is just the worse ever, I got so sick and tired of his office that I changed my doctor when I was 26 weeks because I could not handle his office team anymore.I hope I will never get back there, not for dr Latter because he is a good doctor but his office team suck so bad!I hate all the girls that work there, they don't know anything, always lost, always rude, really Poor office team.

Dr. Later delivered my first child, and even though it appeared there was going to be complications, he worked through them with ease and assured me also. The delivery went smoothly. I was so impressed that we are actually moving back into that area so we can have him deliver our second child also.

Doctor Later delivered 6 of my babies, all but one were c-section. He is very caring and understanding. When I moved out of state I was no longer able to go to him. Although I have a good doctor, I really miss the wonderful relationship we had as patient and doctor. He knew me and never questioned what I thought or said. He was very caring. He let me keep my modesty where so many doctors let it fly out the door at my expense. He has very good bed side manners. He never makes you feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. He makes every visit a good experience. (Even a yucky PAP smear)Thanks Dr Later for everything you did for me.

I was very sad when my insurance changed and I couldn't use him as my OB with my 3rd child. He is very much a perfectionist and took great care of me when I had my C-sections. I will always recommend him first. If you have to have C-sections, look no further.

I've been a client of Dr Later for a few years now. Recently I had to visit under very sensitive circumstances. At first I was embarrassed and worried people would judge me. The nurses and staff were so professional and made me feel so comfortable, I wasn't embarrassed at all. They helped me to understand and cope with my unpleasant circumstance.
