Dr. Robert Harry Latham, MD

After spending a week in the hospital without any type of diagnosis and after meeting with Dr. Latham on a daily basis followed by blood tests and blood cultures for several infections and diseases based off of hunches of Dr. Lathams, we left, feeling much better, but with no results. This is totally understandable as, according to many of the doctors we saw, sometimes a patient suffers from a bacterial infection or a virus and they end up leaving without ever knowing what was wrong and just get better. My review is based on Dr. Latham's dismissing attitude and awful bedside manner. We had a follow up appointment to check on one of the main infections the doctors were suspicious of and had to remind Dr. Latham to retest for this. He also could not answer any of our simple questions and was just too bothered to even have us in office again. I can assure you that I nor any of my family or friends will be back to see Dr. Latham. He made sure to tell us after 7 days in hospital that it… just does not pay to get sick on the weekend, he had no idea how long we would be there, and really gave us no ideas what he could possibly think it may be. Long story short - there are many other doctors out there who CARE about your feelings and understand you don't spend all your free time in a hospital and are likely terrified and need some extra reassurance. Dr. Latham is not the doctor to go to if you want any comfort at all or even if you want some type of answer.
