Dr. Robert Buie Lehman, MD

I like Dr. Lehman because he does a great job. And he takes time to talk with his patient's. I'll never forget the words he said to me, as they started to move me from the O.R. to my room. Quote: Nest time get here sooner. I'll see you in your room, in just a few min's. Unquote... And when he came to my room, to check-up on me. His first question was...How long ago was it, when this attach began? He was asking me this because it had done alot of damage. I looked up at the clock on the wall, & then told him. That it was about 8hr's ago, when it hit me in the chest & down my arm. And at that time, I was out on the farm, fixing fence. I had to walk about 100 yards back to the old farm tractor. Then ride that rough thing, about 3/4 of a mile to the house. When I got to the gate. I tryed to get off that tractor, but fell to the ground. Then I was on my hands & knees, to the house. It was just a miracle, that I made it back to the house. As I set there on the floor, looking at the clock… on my wall. It seems like my whole life time, was flashing before my eye's. Then something my family Doctor had told me many year's before. It was to take 3 or 4 aspirins, if I ever felt a heart attach come on. And call 911 to get to the hospital. We'll just by luck, I had a bottle of them on the table beside me & took them. Only I could not get to the phone, to make the call. So as I set there, for a few hours. I thought my life was over. But then my younger brother showed up, & got me to the hospital. After they did their test on me. They sent me to St. Louis. After I got done telling this LONG story to Dr. Lehman. I think he told me that it was a miracle, that I made it this far. And because of the time, it took to get me here. It has caused many other problems. And that the other Doctors who worked beside him. Would be doing many test on me the next few days. He told me that he would see me again in the morning. I told him Thanks, & then asked him if he believed in miracles. His answer was "Yes". So I asked him to put me in his prayers. As he went out the door, the phone beside me started ringing. So I answered it. It was a old classmate of mine. He just wanted to know if there was anything he could do for me. I ask him to up some of my Facebook FRIENDS. And have them put me on their prayer list. So he did it, & I thanked him. The next day when the other Doctor's, did all their test on me. I was told they could not find, what they seen the night before. So they keep me there to re-test a few more days. But could find nothing, of what they were looking for. During this time I recall Dr. Lehman telling me that, if it was left up to him. That he would of done sent me home. I told him that some people just don't have the faith as other's do. He's a great Doctor. One that cares for his patient's. Keep up the good work Dr. Lehman......And always keep that faith......H. D. Beckett......;-)

Dr Lehman is a great Cardio Doctor. Great bedside manner and very thorough.
