Dr. Bob Leonetti
As a dentist, I love having the ability to help others in my community live healthier and happier lives. My team and I enjoy getting to know our patients personally and providing them high quality and gentle dental care. I have surrounded myself with capable, talented staff members who show compassion to every patient. I consider it a privilege to work with such exceptional people. Together we create a truly enjoyable dental experience for our patients.
Education and Continuing Education
Before becoming a dentist, I attained my Bachelors Degree in Biology from St. Joe's in Philadelphia, and my Dental Degree from UMDNJ in Newark, NJ. Since my graduation in 1978, I have never stopped furthering my dental education. I continually attend courses and seminars in the latest methods and technologies, and am active in several professional organizations and study groups. I completed a Fellowship in Dental Care for Special Needs Patients at the University of …Washington in Seattle, and have an ongoing membership in the Pinnacle Study Club.
I am active in continuing education because my profession is changing rapidly, and I always want to ensure that my patients receive the best care possible. I regularly attend about twice the amount of continuing education that is required by law, and enjoy implementing new techniques into my practice.

In the Practice
I love my job because I get to meet new friends every day, and connect with our community. I am a real people person, and I truly care about each patient who comes to see me. I take the time to know them and their complete history, so I can better assess their oral health. I am a perfectionist in my work because I want my patients to have a happy, comfortable dental experience and walk away with a healthy smile.
After over 33 years of dental practice, I am still just as excited as ever to come to work. I want to help patients gain or maintain their oral health, and it's truly rewarding to renew someone's health or comfort. Every day, I get to welcome a new patient into our dental family, and begin building a lifelong connection that helps them live a long, healthy life!
Family and Community
I grew up in Camden, NJ, and now live in Tabernacle and Ocean City. I have been in Tabernacle for 31 years and Ocean City for 17. My lovely wife, Dr. Joyce Leonetti, and I have two children. Maria lives in Philadelphia and works for the Philadelphia Flyers. David lives with his wife, Pam, in North Carolina, where he works as a city planner; she as a physical therapist.
When I am not in the office, I love spending time with my family. I am also volunteer for local and international charity organizations. I am a former president of the Berlin Business and Professional Association, and have traveled to South and Central America to provide dental care to underprivileged children. I also helped found a clinic in Camden, NJ, that provides dental care for the homeless.
