The office staff is the worst. I've waited on the phone for over 20 minutes. Dr. has cancelled my appointment 3x in a row and because he only works a limited number of days you have to rebook at least a month in advance after HE cancelled the appointment! Can you imagine if I had serious medical issues? I can't wait to get my medical file back and find a real doctor with office staff that works instead of just putting people on hold.

I'm on hold for over half an hour to get a prescription. I could never figure out why doctor's have such terrible office assistants - how could they leave a caller ignored this long?

Dr. Levinson is very detailed with every patient which makes the wait well worth it. If a symptom doesn't match his skill set, which is seldom, he researches the problem instead of only taking another doctor's word that another treatment will work. He understands that each patient is different, therefore the care required can't be general medicine. THANKS DR. LEVINSON

My wife saw Dr. Levinson in Feb 09 for the first time. We were visiting from MI, she was on hemodialysis and was required to see a doc down here because of the lenght of our stay. As we waited, another patient commented that he was almost an hour late for his appointment that day but went to great pains to say that it's worth the occasional wait. He said "you don't just see him for 5 minutes, he'll spend as much time as you need, sometimes a half hour". The guy was right. Levinson genuinely cares about his patients. Takes as much time as you need. He is kind, he'll educate and explain things. He even gave me his cell number when things took a bad turn for my wife. We moved to Ft Myers, a good 2 hrs away, but will travel to see this guy!
