Outstanding Doctor - very knowledgeable, very professional yet nice

What a great and caring dr who takes time to review all of your symptoms even if he does not have a diagnosis on first appointment. As time goes on and he sees more symptoms or you talk with him he will work to give you a correct diagnosis and treatment for your symptoms. His staff is very nice and always gets back with you promptly. If an appointment gets cancelled you may have to wait about a month for a reschedule but for a dr that does not push you off on an assistant I dont think its that unusual. I have seen at least five other neurologists including at WVU and other than Dr John who left the area right after he diagnosed me has been the only one that has helped me.

Once you meet Dr. Lewis you will immediately be impressed with his exceptional care and knowledge of neurology. During the initial consultation he skillfully asks questions to gain a better understanding and get a a good picture of the patients symptoms which will help him identify and make a thorough diagnosis. He always has a plan for the patient that is well thought out and meticulously initiated. Superior physician who works to determine the most effective medicine which will help the patient gain the ability to maintain optimum functionality of their disease.

Although you may wait sometime a long period of time ,he is a great Dr and is worth the wait to see.

To me, Dr. Lewis' approach to his profession epitomizes what a Dr should be. -his stance that he will spend as much time with me as necessary, his stance that you treat symptoms but really have to get to the diease, his stance that drugs are not the answer, his stance that he cares for the patient and wants to find out the problem and fix it and not mask it with drugs, and I could go on and on-but thoroughly impressed with his professionalim, knowledge, and common man approach to his patients
