Dr. Robert Charles Lichtenberg, MD

My husband Miguel Vega was in MacNeal hospital because of chest pain and other issues. When Dr. Lichtenberg came into the room to talk to him just his presence alone brought calmness into the room. He made it very easy to relax. Everything he explained, he explained in a way you didn't have to have a dictionary on hand to understand. We have unfortunately had our fair share and then some, of encounters with Drs. over the years but I have to say, with no hesitation, Dr. Lichtenberg is our favorite. His bedside manner is awesome. His personality is great. His ability to care for a patient, who although it's in his job description, is still an absolute stranger. Yet he comes into the room with this confidence that is not even close to conceited but so beautifully humble and like he's known you your whole life. He works in a way that includes you in your care plan and makes it seem as though you are just two guys, hanging out, working on a classic car together! lol. I hope he knows… just how much of an impact he's had on us and I hope he continues to do so for many other people for years and years to come. Thank you very much Dr! You are one of a kind! Dr. Lichtenberg is amazing gave me hope, and the right medical advise continue my pregnancy. Recommend a great high risk cardiologist. I now have 14 month old son, who is amazing. I thank the Lord for sending me Dr. Lichtenberg. Always get a second opinion I'm so blessed now because I did!

best doctor I ever had

Dr. Lichtenberg was my cardiologist for over 20 years. He is the best there is. He is patient, understanding and very thorough. I have been to many doctors but not one has even came close to Dr. Lichtenberg. I am so sad to see him retire, I don't know how I am going to replace him.

I have been Dr. Lichtenbergs patient for almost four years. We need more doctors like him. I am sorry to see that he has retired. If it was not for him I probably would not be writing this review. Have a great retired. I will try to do what ever I am doing for the next 50 years like you told me. Thank You.

Dr. Lightenberg has been my cardiologist for the past 15 years. He's knowledgeable, compassionate, diligent, involved, professional and gracious. He takes the time and explains everything really well. Couldn't have asked for a better cardiologist. In fact , if all the doctors were half the doctor and person he is, there would be no issues with doctors.

Exceptional doctor

I would highly recommend Dr. Lichtenberg. He is kind, caring and compassionate. These qualities are only exceeded by his knowledge base and expertise in his field.
