Dr. Robert Mark Liegner, MD

I could be a doctor without even having a degree if this thing can be a doctor.

Seen him in ER...rude comments...no compassion...terrible bedside manner...would give 0 stars if I could.

Dr Liegner had changed my opinion on emergency room doctors. I find most ER doctors to be very cold in nature, and definitely aren't very good when it comes to bedside manner. I've only met two other ER doctors besides Mr. Liegner that have treated me well and like I am a human being. I have a very rare genetic illness so I am very familiar with hospitals and everything medical. This doctor sat down on a chair next to me and mother, and explained to me what was wrong with me, and what I can do to further help my Rare terminal illness. Also, most ER physicians are not educated in what I have, it's very rare, so I don't fault them for only knowing a few things about it. However, Dr. Liegner was surprisingly very well educated on my illness! My mother and I were so surprised on how much he truly knew! He went above and beyond to help me, and to make sure to point me in the right direction to try and save my life at a young age of 32. He was emphatetic towards my pain, and… medicated me for it. He didn't treat me like a "drug seeker" from my fast breathing and hugely elevated blood pressure, he knew I was suffering. He also aggressively treated my nausea and vomiting ( I mean agressively in a good way) most doctors would have just given one dose of an anti-emetic, but dr Liegner knew one dose wouldn't cut it for me The rare illness that I have requires me to use oxygen 24/7. I am constantly short of breath,and when I get these flare ups, I struggle to get oxygen to my body. The dr knew that. He treated me prompltly, and had a respitory therapist by my side within 10 minutes of arriving in my ER room. I should mention dr Liegner made me a little short of breath, but it was in a good way, he was making jokes that made me laugh. All In all, he is an amazing doctor. He looked past my messy hair, my face without makeup due to illness, and he saw me as a human being, a person with a heart that has feelings. Many ER doctors leave me feeling worse about myself. But this doctor is unlike any other. He deserves recognition for this, and I won't stop until he's noticed. Thank you -anonymous

Worst Dr I have ever met. Not compasionate, doesn't attend to your needs and if you're dying in pain good luck getting anything. He's a joke.
