Dr. Robert Philip Lonergan III, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Lonergan off and on for 3 years. My most recent visit was for a follow-up after a torn tendon hip surgery. I have never been anything but pleased with the care I've received from Dr. Lonergan and his team. My surgery & recovery has gone very well and better than I expected. He's very professional and easy to talk to. He and his staff genuinely care about patients. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

I recently had 3 areas around my shoulder operated on. Dr. Lonergan and his staff (as well as the staff at the Germantown Surgery Center), were professional, knowledgeable, caring and always made me feel at ease. I am having my other shoulder operated on in a few months. Only because of such a positive experience with Dr. Lonergan and all involved with my last surgery, am I ready to move forward on this next shoulder surgery. Surgery is never an easy choice to make, but having an excellent surgeon and surgical team truly makes the decision so much easier! Recovery is not fast with shoulder surgery, but with PT and Dr. Lonergan assisting me throughout this journey, I know I will have an excellent recovery!

Dr. Lonergan is so easy to talk to and explains every detail of your problem. He offers options and helps you understand the outcome. I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Lonergan is a great doctor. After the MRI the office scheduled and took of everything. Always a phone call away. I’m still in the full recovery phase and he is always is optimistic.

The first time I saw Dr Lonergan was in 2012 when I had my shoulder surgery due to an injury on the job. I have seen him ever since for other injuries as well and most recently for a hip injury. I must say that Dr Lonergan is a very good and knowledgeable doctor. I like his staff and his easy going ability to talk to him and explain most of my concerns due to the injuries I sustained throughout my visits to his office. I may not agree with everything he has said but I agree with him 99% of the time and I would recommend him to anyone who needs to see a doctor. He’s an excellent physician. I have nothing bad to say of him.
