Competent, listened and responsive

Dr. Long treated me for bulging disks and severe neck and back pain. I received cervical epidural steroid injections and they were contaminated with fungus. Since then I have lost over a third of my body weight, been hospitalized twice, and am in far more pain than ever before. Dr. Long never spoke with me about the fact that his actions have caused me so much suffering, in fact I never even saw his face during my treatment. Once the news broke, dr. Long left Maps clinic. They knew they were buying medications from a company NOT licensed in MN, they didn't bother calling me and telling me I had received the bad steroids, it was the MN Dept of Health who contacted me, they didn't offer me anything but rudeness and telling me that my illness wasn't from the steroids in spite of the fact that within minutes of the injection I was in the worst pain of my life, within a week I began falling down, trembling, having flu-like symptoms, weight loss, needing assistance with even walking. Dr.… Long has cost me my long term health, and perhaps my life, a load of money, time lost from work, and still the worry that I might develop fungal meningitis. Yes, people who got the shots a year ago are still coming down with meningitis! Shame on him and shame on Maps! Stay away from him and Maps if you value your life. I wish I could give him a dose of the poison he injected my spine with and let him have a taste of what pain is all about! Bad doctor with bad medicine.
