Dr. Robert George Lussier, MD

I never write reviews, however if this helps deter even one person from seeing him, it will be worth it. He is uncaring, condescending, untrustworthy and arrogant. All of this would be okay to tolerate if he was a good doctor. He misdiagnosed me, kept increasing the dosage of the medication he prescribed, which caused me to go into a deep depressive episode that he dismissed (both me telling him my concerns and the subsequent episode). There are so many good psychiatrists out there and thankfully I have found one since; unfortunately he is not of them. I hope this helps.

I think he is a great Dr. He has helped me very much and never makes me wait at our appointments. He is great on calling in prescription refills too.

He is self serving. Doesn’t see the patient as they are and dismisses concerns.

I just started learning to ride a bike with gear shifts and hand brakes. My earlier one was a boys bike my dad picked up at the dump. No gears to change, the brakes you pedal backwards to stop.

He is approachable with clear boundaries. He is caring and cautious with medications and seeks clarification in creating an individualized treatment plan for me. His care and approach is a great compliment with my therapist. He seeks patient needs and expectations prior to meeting for an initial visit. This was helpful in finding a good match for my needs. He accepts many insurances. His schedule is convenient with no wait time. He provides scheduling reminders and follow up prompts.

I cannot understand why this man practices psychiatry because he does not have an ounce of compassion in him. Please retire.

My suggestion for Dr. Lussier: 1. Stop practicing psychiatry.

He is arrogant, cold and uncaring. Why his is still practicing is beyond me. I read the negative reviews about him but upon the suggestion of my primary doctor, I thought I should give him a fair chance...big mistake. He's out for the money and should be ashamed of himself for the way he treats people.

I felt Dr Lussier didn't listen to me & acted almost annoyed with me. I found him to be condescending, judgemental and rude. Very disappointing experience. I've changed psychiatrists.

I would recommend Dr. Lussier to anyone looking for a good psychiatrist. He is a good listener and keeps up with current psychiatry. Dr. Lussier is an expert about medication. I haven't experienced waiting for my appointment and do not feel rushed. I highly recommend Dr. Lussier.
