I Absolutely love the center for hip and knee ,Dr.Robert Malinzak has done both my knee replacements and they are absolutely great no pain at all in either knee ,I wouldnt let any other dr do my replacements hes a very caring person .I would highly recommend Dr.Malinzak

I had high hopes for this doctor. However my experience from getting the wrong address to the start of an x-ray left much to be desired. Here is why. If you do a simple search on what x-rays are good at diagnosing you see this: X-rays show bones, but they don’t show tendons, ligaments, articular cartilage, the meniscus and other soft tissue structures in the knee. If you think you suffered a soft tissue injury, you might think an MRI is the appropriate first step. X-ray and MRI for knee arthritis. I brought this up multiple times that I didn’t t think that was the correct test to base my evaluation on and was ignored. I moved here from Chicago and that is exactly what my last surgeon told me also. That’s why I knew and tried to advocate for my care. Dr Malinzak ignored me and was checking his watch during the consult if you can even call it that. He spent so little time. Saw I wasn’t a typical case he gets: senior needing a new knee and wanted to ignore my case. I am in terrible pain.… I wake up every night from knee pain. This is not normal. Something is wrong ! Dr. Malinzak basically told me I would have this pain for the rest of my life it was probably scar tissue and that is what comes with an ACL injury. Oh and …keep doing what Im doing. That is unacceptable and an impossible way to live: constant bed rest, icing the knee, taking too much OTC pain reliever, having someone hold my arm in case I fall… I am 40. Does that sound like a great quality of life? The stretches and yoga plan I can continue to do. Living the rest of my life out of my bed I cannot. I am looking for another doctor. Do not waste your time and money here unless you already fit his profile.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with him. Each appointment I had with him, both before a steroid shot under fluoroscopy, and before surgery, he took lots of time with me, and answered all of my questions. He struck me as fun, and funny, a perceptive listener, caring, super intelligent, and completely trustworthy. My surgery was not only painless, but life-changing. That was NINE years ago, and I'm getting ready to have my other hip replaced. I hope that surgery and recovery is as easy and painless as it was with Dr. Malinzak. (I've moved out of Indiana, so it's just not practical for me to have Dr. Malinzak do my second hip. But if I still lived there, I sure would!)

worst doctor I have ever met. Long story short he made me wait for three hours in waiting room for a five minute consult. Then in the middle of consult he got up and walked out as I was asking a question. He never returned either. When I had asked for information about the surgery he had little to say of any value. I was scheduled for a second surgery and he instructed his nurse to cancel my appointment which cause me to pay an additional $1000 in insurance since it put me into the next years deductible. I will never be treated by him ever and would not recommend his rudeness to anyone. Final straw is when I requested more pain medication he would not prescribe it.

Dr. Malinzak was very easy to talk to. He listens to what I have to say and wanted to make sure I understood what his treatment recommendations were. Would highly recommend him.

I had my left hip replaced and everything turned out great. I have had no issues at all. I highly recommend St. Francis in Mooresville and I highly recommend Dr. Malinzak!

I had both hips replaced by Dr. Malinzak and had the best possible experience with both. Dr is thorough and patient-oriented. His staff is also very kind, patient, and responsive. I have been very happy with the overall care and kindness which I received over several months.

He is the very best doctor I have ever seen. I wish that I had seen this review sooner as I would have been happy to send it. I have told so many people about him and how much he does for you as a patient. Always up and caring for you and never makes you feel like your needs are not important. Best knee doc around.

We were so impressed with the clinic and the care. They are a class act clinic. NO wait time. My husband had been in pain for 7 years and was bone on bone. Why did we wait so long. Surgery and recovery was amazing. No problems since and wonders why he waited so long. Dr. Malinzak was very personable and loved working with him. Would suggest this Physician to anyone who needs a knee replacement. Even with the last name Knee we had to have the best. I would give 5 stars or 10 if I had too. Thank you so much Dr. Malinzak!!!
