Previously, he was at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., where he was chief of Neurosurgery.Dr. Mason is a Navy veteran who flew F-14s and served as a flight instructor before pursuing a medical career. Working with the intricacies of the brain and spine drew him to his specialty, and the opportunity to perform surgery on a wide variety of cases led him to MedStar Georgetown.
