Dr. Robert Gregg Matheny, MD

Great personality for his practice and bedside manner. He is king and considerate and caring. I trust his diagnosis. Our primary physician does not have an appt available for 2 months most of the time. City needs more doctors. With pneymonia already diagnosed at emergency you cannot wiat two months to see if you still have it..

This Doc has a NP that he uses. I really dislike this guy. He does not explain why he needs a particular test, He doesn't explain what might happen if the test is not done and when I called him in this he said "I don't have time to BABYSIT my patients. Spoke with the Dr M himself, he acknowledged hubbie needs oxygen but was unwilling to perscribe As soon as I find another Doc in the area we will move on.

I have been seeing Dr Matheny for about 10 years. He is a wonderful doctor. Treats his patients with respect. His staff however are the most incompentent group of people I've yet to meet in a doctors office. Don't plan on going in and getting right in to see your doctor. My last visit I waited for over an hour. The time befor this, they changed my appointment and didn't let me know. So that when I did get there, they told me he couldn't see me. I did get in, but I had to complain to do so. When it comes to the billing people at his office, get prepared to recieve a bill even after you pay what they tell you to pay. I paid 226.10 and then recived another bill in the mail for 275.00. I called them about in and all they could say is that they made a mistake. So sorry. This is the second time they have done this to me. I am now looking for a different doctor. Sad to say.
