Dr. Robert Paul Matsko Jr, DO

My Family started going to Dr Matsko Sr. about 17-20 years ago.He has treated my children all of there lives as well as my wife and myself for all of these years.He is an excellent Doctor who has a wonderful bedside manner and also does everything possible to get to the root of your problem and not just shove pills down your throat as many other doctors do.He is an old school doctor with excellent ethics.Takes his time to make sure that you fully understand what he thinks before you leave his office.When we 1st started seeing him as our family doctor we lived less than a mile away and my kids were always VERY comfortable. We have moved several times since our 1st visit and always moved farther away but we continued to travel to see him.We now live in Hershey over 20 miles away and have lot,s of doctors that are MUCH closer that we could see but Dr Matsko is such a great man and my kids are so comfortable with him that we will travel whatever distance is necessary to keep him as our… Doc. He has treated us when times were so tough that we could not afford to pay him and he actually waived his fee to see me when I was sick.As long as he stay,s working we will continue to be our doctor.This man deserves an award for being the best doctor in the Central Pa. area. His son,Robert Jr. is also a good doctor who works in the same office and if he follows his fathers footsteps as to his ethics & bedside manner and just his genuine concern for his patients, someone will be writing the same words on his behalf someday.
