Dr McCord is my angel. When I was transferred to UAB west he stepped up and helped me. While in a different hospital the surgeon there was supposed to take my foot but he wanted to wait and see how far my dying toes would go then then came to UAB west twice saying the same thing while squeezing my foot torturing me even more. My angel saved me from the devastating pain I was in. He had to do a lower leg amputation because the whole foot basically died by that time. But a week later I got to go home. I really don’t know what would have happened if it weren’t for dr McCord. I don’t trust drs but I completely trust dr McCord

I went to the ER, thinking I had kidney stones. However, I had an The abdominal aortic aneurysm. Because I couldn’t afford $1000 per month insurance, I was terrified that I would be treated differently. To my surprise, wasn’t treated with nothing but dignity. Dr McCord did the surgery and was absolutely the best. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for taking such good care of me !!
