Dr. McDonald has cared for me for 17 yrs. Always thoughtful, informative, excellent bedside manner. Explains medical conditions. Prompt referrals when needed. Personable, caring, gentle in his physical approach to examination. A wonderful physician. Carefully explains multiple diagnoses and implications. Very helpful.

Dr. Robert McDonald has been my primary physician for 18 years and I have always been extremely satisfied. No matter how sick I am I leave with total confidence in Dr. McDonald's diagnosis and medical care. He has a very easy and compatible communication style. He listens, asks questions, answers any questions I may have and follows up to see how I am doing . I never feel rushed and he respects me by explaining my medical conditions in terms I can understand. I have come to count on him to be courteous, friendly and positive with each visit. He even asks me how my husband is and if we have gone on any good vacations lately. I highly recommend and trust Dr. McDonald. I have referred numerous friends and relatives to him and will continue to do so with full assurance of his proper, trustworthiness and reliable manner to do the right thing.

I have been a nurse for over 30 years and was extremely disappointed with the lack of thoroughness of my "exam" with Dr. Mcdonald. I have been a patient at his office for over 5 years and have been very pleased with the care that I received from Kim, his NP. I was told I HAD to see Dr. McDonald. At my visit, he was extremely impersonal, did not acknowledge the medical issues that were brought to his attention and was generally dismissive. As a result, I have transferred to another physician. I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Mcdonald to anyone.

Dr. McDonald has been my primary care physician for 15 years. He takes the necessary time, asks lots of questions, takes lots of notes and really tries to get a good history. Because of his thououghness, he caught a life threatening condition which had been missed by both an ER physician and a specialist which probably saved my life. I highly recommend Dr Mcdonald as an internist or a primary care physician.

Dr. McDonald takes a personal interest in his patients. He is thorough in reviewing pt's files and in arriving at conclusions based upon pt's history, current examination, and concurrent assessment. Dr. McDonald is kind, caring, and thoroughly competent in his practice. I would recommend him highly to anyone in need of an internist or a primary care physician.
