Dr. Robert Francis Mcfadden, MD

Dr. McFadden is a dedicated doctor who listens to his patients and encourages them to overcome obstacles and to seek a better life. Through my own struggles Dr. McFadden has always provided me with the best care and is available when I needed him the most. I highly recommend his services to any one who is looking for treatment.

He is a very good psychyatrist

I was a patient of McFadden’s for several years in Philadelphia. I was seeing him for anxiety, panic disorder and mild depression. I was terrified of driving over bridges and major highways and was prescribed a drug that was 100% effective in stopping the panic and anxiety. Without any warning he dismissed me as a patient and left me hanging. I was terrified because the medication I needed was stopping just as abruptly which could cause seizures. I remember the last thing I asked him. I said was it possible for me to die having a full blown anxiety attack and he literally said, “you could have a stroke or heart attack!” Who says that to a patient? I’ll tell you, Rober McFadden. When he is done with you for whatever reason, he will cut you off! I would avoid this man at all costs. I think he is a mean spirited person who comes off like a saint.

Dr. Robert F. McFadden is one of the best doctors I have encountered in the medical field, particularly in psychiatry. He is dedicated to his patients, passionate about his job and incredibly cordial.

He gave me some options for treating ADHD, and it helped.

Dr. McFadden met with me the day after I called, and changed one of my medications that day. I had way less trouble with a side effect I had for a long time after that.

I think Dr. McFadden is a nice caring Doctor who is fair, firm and committed to patient care at all times. He is nice and cuts right to the chase. I like him a lot as his patient.

I contacted Dr. McFadden during a very tough period in my life. He promptly returned my call and was available to meet with me the same week. He did a thorough assessment and spoke directly with my oncologist. I know this because I was in a meeting with my oncologist when Dr. McFadden called her! He offered me medication and non-medication treatment options. I worked with Dr. McFadden weekly for about 18 months. We mutually agreed that my symptoms were adequately improved and now I check in with him about every other month. It gives me reassurance knowing that I have access to speaking with him if and when I need to.

Intelligent yet gentle; Clinical yet compassionate; professional yet down-to-earth. I am a professional caregiver for someone with a truamatic brain injury. Anyone with a traumatic brain injury or caregiver who works with someone living with TBI should seek this doctor. He specializes in the symptoms caused by TBI. We like him as he works to help with sleep/mood disturbances. This doctor is excellent. If you think you have had bad experiences with psychiatrists please give this doctor a try. He is the antithesis of Niles Crane. He is working with someone with a traumatic brain injury and we have been with him for over a year now. He is amazing!
