Dr. Robert D Mcgarrigle, DO

In 2008, Dr. Mcgarrigle did an appendectomy on me via mid-line incision. It lead to massive adhesions, leading to the need for another surgery in which 10" of my small intestine needed to be removed. Since then, I have been in and out of the hospital repeatedly (about 20 times in 10 years) with small bowel obstructions that have caused great stress and the need for additional surgeries. AND EVERYWHERE I GO, people say "Mid-line incision appendectomy? Why was it done 400 years ago?" Every medical person I run into is amazed that my appendectomy was done by mid-line, and GI docs have told me that there is NEVER a reason to do it. I'm sure Dr. M is near retirement. Even worse! His poor judgement, which has had a great negative effect on my life, is now affected by age. AVOID, and lawyer up! I wish I had, in retrospect.

Dr.McGarrgle is truly one of the best Doctors I have ever dealt with, he has did several surgeries and is the most caring Dr. I have ever met, he will figure out what is wrong and he goes out of his way to meet you at the hospital even on a Sunday, not many Doctors do that! Along with being a skilled surgeon, Dr. Mcgarrigle is both professional and very caring. I would definitely recommend his services.

dr. Mcgarrigle performed invasive surgery for a biopsy....something a proficient doctor would not have done because you run the risk of infection. He spent about 2 minutes w/me announcing I had cancer and needed chemo and radiation. He has no finesse or compassion. This doctor should not be practicing medicine.
