Dr. Robert Allen McNutt, MD

When many doctors told me that my Fibro my alliance was all in my head, Dr. McNutt tackled the underlying causes. Sometimes a bit brash but overall he gave me excellent treatment. He moved west in2011 and I have not found a doctor to take his place. I was drug free until my thyroid went crazy in 2015 and have had to go back to a few meds for that. Not a drug pushing doctor

This MD is one to avoid. While he appears to make some effort, he is absolutely incredible as to completing paperwork for insurance companies. He does not want to be bothered with the pre-authorization of medications. His office staff are deplorable, rude, and unfriendly. I'm going elsewhere!

I had battled Gout for several years and the treatment options prescribed by other Doctors often only partially worked. Dr McNutt was able to educate me on my condition, prescribe medications that worked, show that he actually cared about the pain management issue. I finally felt as though someone was concerned about my medical condition and didn't look at it as "another Gout case".

i have severe arthritis and hate drs, but he made me feel that he cared, i cried when i was dropped like a hot potpto no explanation, which i thought for the dr and the hospital to treat me that way, un excusable drs are supposed to care about their patirnts more.

I am very disappointed the he is no longer with St. Pete's. Very nice doctor. Very understanding of your problems. Always listens. Crying shame he is gone. I hope I can find him, I am looking for him now.

FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS I THOUGHT I HAD FINALLY FOUND A DR WHO BELIEVED IN THE OATH HE TOOK WHEN RECEIVING HIS DEGREE. I WAS SO DISAPPPOINTED WHEN I WAS CALLED AND TOLD THAT HE WAS NO LONGER WITH ST PETES. DR MCNUTT NOT ONLY LISTENED TO WHAT I HAD TO SAY HE WATCHED HOW I MOVED AND REACTED TO SPECIFIC THINGS. FOR THE LAST 11 YEARS ONLY ONE OTHER DR MADE THE EFFORT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF MY PROBLEMS. GREED SEEMS TO PLAY AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN TODAYS MEDICAL FIELD-INCLUDING CEOS AND ADMINISTRATION. I AM SORRY TO HEAR THAT DR MCNUTT IS NO LONGER WITH ST PETES AND I HOPE HE WILL OPEN HIS OWN PRACTICE, I WILL CERTAINLY BE THERE. AS FOR ST PETES I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE MANNER IN WHICH THEY HANDLED THINGS. WHEN I CALLED THEY WERE VERY SHORT- ALMOST TO THE POINT OF RUDENESS. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT REFERRALS "WE DON'T HAVE ANYONE ELSE" IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NO LONGER BE COMING TO ST PETES IF YOU CAN NOT PROVIDE SERVICE. IT CERTAINLY YOUR LOSE THAT DR MCNUTT IS NO LONGER WITH YOU.… HE WAS VERY UP FRONT WITH WHAT HE FELT ABOUT YOUR CONDITION AND AT THE SAME TIME VERY COMPASSIONATE THANK YOU

change doctors because of rudeness and uncaring matter..MC Nutt also seemed to talk about his own personal problems instead of mine.
