Was Pre-approved with Canyon Surgery Center for insurance to use this Anesthesiologist. I get a bill for $1400 and sent them my EOB stating patient responsibility is $218.60. Ignored it and now they sent it to collections. Collection company is saying that doctor doesn't do insured contracted amounts. Very deceitful and unethical

Avoid if you have Insurance through your employer. - this wealthy doctor balance bills claiming out of network even though the hospitals this he works at do accept the insurance carrier submitted for service for payment in full. Additionally the fees he charges are double the usual and customary for the same services provided by the consensus of anesthesiologist in Phoenix
