Dr. Robert Henry Meichner, MD

He minimized and mocked me. Didn’t take me seriously when I had a life threatening bacterial infection. Gossipy childish person. His staff called my home one day and said “get to the office right now, he wants to talk to you”. I’d been bedridden for months. When I said I couldn’t drive and we might could come in if my husband got home from work in time, they changed their tune. I eventually took myself to Mobile and was admitted immediately spending almost two weeks in.

Rude and inconsiderate staff. I have seen Dr. over a period of several years and he has become unpleasant and difficult to work with.

Immediately diagnosed my condition when other doctors could not. Recommend!

I have seen Dr Meichner many times for serious conditions over the years. He is very thorough, extremely knowledgeable and I trust his judgement implicitly. When my mother was in serious condition and required surgery, I called him in for a second opinion because I totally trust his skills and judgement. He is a "cut to the chase" doctor and will give you the no-nonsense information that you need. No sugar coating, which I like. He is extremely intelligent and has a dry sense of humor which takes a little getting used to but make no mistake, he is one of the best doctors in our area.

Dr. Meichner is thorough and offers compassion as well as a fine staff. No dilly dally. He gets the job done. Thank you for your excellent care, Dr. Meichner.

Dr. Meichner has the ability to see beyond general health care and was able to connect the dots between all of my ailments and direct me to complete healing. I am so thankful to be under his care. Dr. Meichner saved my life. Forever thankful.

Dr. Meichner is offensive, arrogant and does not communicate well at all. He does not like to answer questions or explain test findings and gets offended if you challenge him at all. My husband and I had recently had an encounter with him that left me in tears. I walked away and vowed to never deal with him again.

I recently call the office to get a copy of my records for a second opinion and was told if I went to another doctor Dr Meichner would not see me again. And I would have to pay for all of my records. So I can not Recommend a Doctor that doesn't value my life nor trust his own work enough to be reviewed by another Dr. So I recommend skip this Doctor and just find another one that values you.
